Montclair High School Award Ceremony pictures honoring a student with the first Deshon Johnson Memorial Scholarship 2013

On June 6 The Deshon Johnson Memorial Scholarship and plaque was honored to Malik Wright at Montclair High School. This is the first time ever a student was honored with The Deshon Johnson   Memorial Scholarship and plaque. 

We at The Deshon Johnson College Scholarship Foundation like to congratulate Malik Wright for demonstrating great leadership as the class president and diligently striving for educational excellent like Deshon.

This is a picture of Deshon Johnson. Deshon was in the honor society and on the wrestling team in high school. Also, he was chosen to study over-seas twice as an exchange student and was chosen to represent the state of New Jersey at the 2006 National Student Leadership Conference. He attended Mount Hebron Middle School and Northeast Elementary. While in Mount Hebron Deshon song in the chorus, he was on the art community school project and his artwork was displayed in the Montclair Museum.  At the age 22, this young man established one online business with a friend James Little and Matthew Vickers his cousin called Still Hip-Hop Stash. He also, establishes two other online businesses on his own called Noneillah blog radio-station and Noneillahstore.com.

Deshon L Johnson graduated this year 2013 with his Posthumous certificate degree in Business Finance (Financial Service Option) Deshon Johnson’s College Scholarship has been established at the three schools he attended, Montclair High School, Kean University and Essex County College.
