We at The Deshon Johnson College Scholarship Foundation (DJCSF) would like to thank The Office Bar and Grill  manger's;  Brittany, John  and Kelly for supporting us with setting up the event as well as our guest for coming out to support the DJCSF.  The foundation is doing positive things for the students in the town of Montclair.  I would like to especially thank Montclair's Deputy Mayor Bob Russo for his ongoing help, love and humanitarian services. You are a true community leader who cares for people no matter what the circumstance, malady or distress. There should be more poltical figures like you who have a heart of gold. The College Scholarship fundrasing was a great success on July 17.

Below are pictures of the fundrasing event and karaoke night.  Cheers!

Come and join Montclair resident Deshon Johnson's family and friend at The Office Restaurant remembering his life.

On Wednesday July 17, 2013 between 7pm- 12pmThe Office Bar and Grill at 619 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, NJ is giving a fundraising event for Deshon Johnson aka Sean Cos Mason. Any food you buy (meal or desert) 10% will go to The Deshon Johnson College Scholarship Foundation. They also will play his music on Karaoke night. Please come out and celebrate his life with us and support the cause. Please spread the word! If you like to read more about this Montclair resident, Deshon Johnson tragic demise, scholarship and petition Google his name Deshon Johnson.

On Thursday July 18, 2013 10:30 am family and friends are going to gather on Broad Street and Bay Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ where the bus driver jumped the curb and dragged him to his demise. We are going to remember my son. We are going to lay flowers and celebrate his life. Those who want to go to Rosedale on Orange Street Montclair NJ to lay flowers on his site are welcome to go. July 18th marked a year my only child has been taken from me, family and friends. Until this day I still do not have true answers of what happened to my son. There is a lot of loved ones that are being killed at an alarming rate by reckless bus drivers around the world.

Please Google Deshon Johnson petition on change.org and read about others who lost there life due to public transportation incidents. Most of these cases, like Deshon Johnson are labeled as fatal because they are state run businesses. These bus killings are becoming an epidemic. We need national media exposure. A bus is a weapon like a gun. Let’s force the law makers to implement stronger laws.

If you like to make a contribution. Please send it to Pox Box 774 Montclair New Jersey 07042.

Please come out and join us.
