Deshon Johnson College Scholarship Foundation Congratulate James Little, Deshon's Friend on his Congratulation at Montclair State University

James and Deshon had graduated from Essex County College in 2013 but Deshon was not physically here to receive his degree so I stood in my son’s place with his friend James. How painful it was not to share my son’s educational accomplishment and joy. After, ECC Deshon was suppose to go to Montclair State to continue on his education with his brother/friend James, unfortunately Wilson Romaine NJ Transit bus driver made that dream not become a reality by murdering my son when he jumped the curb where Deshon stood knocked him down then dragged him to his demise on July 18. Wilsome have the opportunity to complete his dream but Deshon do not. However, James reached his educational accomplishment again at MSU with the thought of my son and his conversation graduating together on May 18, 2015 which marks 2 years and 10 months his brother/friend life was tragically taken. Once again, I stood in my son’s place by his brother/best friend James side. Once more, I wish my son was physically here to celebrate his accomplishment with me and his friend.

James is saluting his Friend Deshon Johnson. Here is what James wrote about his accomplishment I would like to thank my mother Susan Little for giving birth to me and raising me on her own to be the man I am today. I also want to ‪#‎SALUTE my bro Sean Cos Mason who was killed on July 18th, 2012. We planned on graduating together, and now it is May 18th, 2015 and we did it! His mom was with me at my graduation and he is with me in spirit. The memory of his life keeps me motivated and dedicated to advancing my own.

James with his lovely mother Sue.
