The editor for Montclair Local wrote an article to make Naomi Johnson, Deshon's mother look bad. Naomi told us that she gave the journalist and editor all of the evidence to write the article, but the editor refuses to use the information provided to shine the light on Coach USA corruption and cover-up on Deshon's case. Montclair editor was rude and insensitive to Ms. Johnson grieving. She told" Ms. Johnson she must understand she does not have any control what the press writes about her son; then laugh in Naomi's face.
However, when Sean called the editor, he gave his statement, and she manipulates the article in Coach USA favor to make Naomi look like she is a mother insane.

“This tragic incident was investigated and vetted by the Essex County Prosecutors office. Ms. Johnson filed suit against Community Coach and the bus operator. She was represented by skilled counsel during that time frame and this litigation lasted almost four years. The litigation culminated in a confidential financial settlement in January 2018, whereby Ms. Johnson accepted a sum of money for complete resolution of all of her claims against Community Coach and the bus operator,” said Sean Hughes, Director of Corporate Affairs, Coach USA North America..

It is a shame that the editorial of Montclair local has to put misguided information to sell a newspaper. The editor also showed no remorse of the pain Naomi is enduring from the pain of her son's death corruption by Coach USA/NJ Transit and the Essex County Prosecutor Office.
I believe if Naomi was white the editor would not have twisted the journalist Tina Marousis words. The editorial wrote in the article that the people from Deshon annual memorial said that the corn Deshon was killed was not safe, which is a lie. The safety of the corner was not the reason Deshon was killed; it was the bus driver Wilson Romaine jumping the handicap curb that murdered Deshon.
